Days to get longer

Let's get out there.  Now the days are getting longer it's easier to hit the water.  Even though I thought it was a bright day the sun disappeared fast. I forgot my head light guess I thought I wouldn't need it. Won't happen again!

Short Days at an End

Won't be much longer for them northern days.  You really have to carry a light one that works helps too.

Dress in Layers

Yes beautiful cool fall day on the water.  With this cool fall perhaps we will have an early spring.. So watch the weather and don't forget your gloves and hat. Best to dress in layers with some thing cosy in the middle ie. flesse

Rememberance Paddle

What a better way to remember those who have made service to keep us free then to take a paddle. A great way to appreciate this amazing country.

Tips on the Ocean

Here is a great app Windfinder Pro for keeping track of current weather on the ocean.  Don't leave shore without checking it gives you tons of info.  You can adjust it and it comes free.

This weekends forecast is looking good time to burn off some Halloween candies.  My boat is Mango she is by far the prettiest🍭

Once you get to the ocean it's hard to turn back.  Take a trip as often as you can makes life complete.

Keep your eye on the water

This boat needs some heavy duty assistance.  Notice the line attached to bouy.  You always need a plan B.  This will make you feel better next time you have to bail out your kayak😉.

Looks like some good weather opening up for the next few days.  Might be some time to dry everything out.  Raise your sails in the sun.

We missed it seemed to go right by.  Ana was scheduled to hit last night.   The lesson here is that the weather can vari from the forcast so always check the weather or should I say monitor the weather before and while you on the water.

Today is  day to find a great coffee shop and lay low.  Check up on your lines and secure your boats.  We are in for Ana from Hawaii she might give us some high winds and lots of rain.  So just wait it out Wednesday looks like the best day to get back on the water.

Treble Clef Autumn 2014

All is quiet getting Treble Clef ready for winter.  Cleaned up some water bailing and mounted a new /used latern that I picked up at Thrift shop sweet. Hope to use her as mother ship for kayaking to islands farther out. Alaska some day or Hawaii 😀
